KS-Signals have been used by the Deutsche Reichsbahn (German State Railway) and the Deutsche Bundesbahn (German Federal Railway) since 1993 and will be used today from the Deutschen Bahn (DB) (German Railway) for new rail sections.

Realistic switching of light-signals via accessory addresses:

• With the Light-Signal Decoder LS-DEC is it possible to switch light signals via accessory addresses. Ideal for Digital Central Units which are switching turnout tracks and Model Railway Layouts which are controlled by PC and control software. The signal wiring will be simply connected to the signal-module by practical and secure clamps.
• Via the Light-Signal Decoder LS-DEC-KS is the digital switching of two Ks-Signals of the Ks-Signal system from the Deutsche Bahn possible. It is possible to connect and control Ks-Entry, Ks-Exit, Ks-Advance-Signals and as well Ks-Entry- and Ks-Exit-Multiple-Section-Signals with up to 16 Signal-Aspects.
• The LED´s from the signals will flash realistic during the relevant aspects.

• Signal aspects will not simply be cross faded but as realistic the prior aspect will be firstly dimmed and after a short dark phase the new signal aspect will appear. The light emitting diodes will be dimmed up and down during this process.

• With integrated series resistor for the light emitting diodes.
• Suitable for all LED-light signals with common anode or common cathode.
• Ks-Signals from company alphamodell contain non-removable series resistors. To assure sufficient brightness of the LED`s is it possible to extend the Light-Signal Decoder LS-DEC-KS with the Adapter Adap-LS-A.
• The signal current has not necessarily to be supplied by a booster but can be directly feeded into a separate input from a model railroad transformer. This saves expensive digital current.
• By using a connector plug you can choose if you want to operate the decoder on a Märklin-Motorola system or on a digital system with DCC Standard.
• Decoder of the Digital-Professional-Series can be used on your digital system without any problems because they are compatible to the Märklin-Motorola-Data format respectively to the DCC Standard.
• The finished module in a case comes with 24 month warranty.
• Each decoder LS-DEC-KS will be supplied with a detailed operating instruction.
• You can purchase the Light-Signal Decoder as tested finished module in a case (-G).
